Accounts Administrator

As we expand our operations, we seek a part time detail oriented Accounts Administrator with strong bookkeeping experience to join our team. As we operate a fully electronic business; all financial and administrative tasks are handled through digital systems.
Your responsibilities:
✅Expense management, processing employee and company expenses through our nominated accounting software.
✅Handling purchase orders and invoicing ensuring accuracy and timely payments.
✅Providing purchasing support; including maintaining supplier relationships and managing orders.
✅Performing general bookkeeping duties such as managing ledgers, bank reconciliations, and financial reporting.
✅Assisting with payroll preparation to ensure smooth management of payroll and accurate processing of any overtime enhancements and employee expenses.
✅Monitoring outstanding payments and following up with customers and suppliers to ensure prompt payment.
✅Ensuring compliance with HMRC regulations.
✅Maintaining financial records for auditing purposes and ensuring all transactions are well documented and up to date.
✅Supporting the finance team with month end and year end processes.
✅Accurately inputting financial data into our nominated accounting software.
✅Assisting with general administrative tasks including answering finance related queries, managing emails, and maintaining our GDPR compliant digital filing systems.

We are looking for someone who is computer literate and comfortable using accounting software, Smartsheet, Excel, and other office applications. You should have excellent organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to prioritise tasks in a fast paced environment without constant guidance.
We understand the importance of balancing work with personal or family commitments and obligations. Therefore, this position can be flexible, allowing you to work 25 to 30 hours spread across five days to suit your schedule.
