Function

Demand for EV charging is increasing exponentially as more BEVs fill the roads. With the UK to ban the sale of ICE vehicles in 2030 there are only a few years in which to install an EV charging network in the British Isles. Service stations, stores, places of work and homes will soon all feature an EV charging point.

How storage would improve the situation

With the price of energy to peak at popular charging times as BEVs become more dominant, batteries will allow operators of EV charging points to peak shave and optimise their revenues. For EV charging with its own renewable generation, batteries will allow for uninterrupted operation.

Which MSP product we recommend

The Flex-EV allows for rapid and robust and scalable deployment of EV chargers without the need for slow and costly grid supply upgrade.

Additional benefits

  • Enhanced revenue streams

  • Renewable integration

  • Re-deployable
