Introducing Dom

Dominic Houseman joined the team at MSP Technologies last September as a Field Service Engineer. With a background in engineering for highly regulated environments, he brings a wealth of experience to the role.

Prior to joining MSP, Dominic spent 18 years as an Aeronautical Engineer in the Royal Navy, earning a degree in Aeronautical Engineering (Mechanical) and then achieving accreditation as an Incorporated Engineer with the Institute of Mechanical Engineers in 2018.

In early 2021, he left the Navy and took on the role of Senior Electrical Engineer at a renowned hotel in the Lake District. During this time, he project-led the upgrade of the hotel's electrical supply and distribution, in preparation to install a large solar array at a satellite site by taking it off the main electricity grid. This experience sparked Dominic's interest in renewable and battery energy storage, leading him to MSP and to specify our Flex-ESS250 for the installation.

Upon completion of the project, Dominic felt it was a natural step to join MSP to further develop his own knowledge and the applications of our Flex-ESS systems. He is thrilled to have found a local company operating at the forefront of battery energy storage and is eager to apply the skills he acquired during his Naval career in a new environment.

When not working, Dominic is an avid climber and a proud father of two. He spends most of his free time with his family, climbing in the Lake District Fells.
